My Practice as a Therapist
Everyone deserves to feel safety in their own body. I am honoured to support people in learning about their bodies, process what their body is communicating with them, and eventually finding that safety.
Prior to psychotherapy, I became a certified sex educator and specialized working with adult men needing guidance with intimacy and dating. This work taught me how to offer insight while holding a judgement-free space for clients. Before this, I was a crisis counsellor in women and LGBTQ+ shelters and crisis centres, teaching me how to provide support with a trauma-informed, intersectional framework. All of these experiences led me to develop a psychotherapy practice through a warm, compassionate lens, with a kind sense of humour for clients to feel safe and relaxed during our time together.

Even in progressive city like Vancouver, our culture still struggles with how to discuss sex without shame or stigma. I have a passion for creating environments where people can discuss their sexualities with open curiosity and self-compassion.
