My Practice as a Therapist

I am an experienced counselling therapist and sexual health educator who is passionate about helping people understand, accept, and enjoy their sexuality. Throughout my life I have been insatiably curious about people, relationships, and bodies. I have spent most of my academic and personal life learning about these things and sharing what I learn with others. I believe that information is power and many of us have been disempowered by society causing us to distrust our bodies giving us unrealistic and false information about relationships, sex and sexual & gender identity. Therefore, I am passionate about helping others empower themselves with information about themselves and their sexuality.

  • I use a person-centred approach to therapy that is non-judgemental and collaborative, where my clients can feel that they have equal power in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe space for my clients to explore their concerns with compassion and acceptance. My hope for my clients is that they feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves fully in our sessions together. I hope that through our work together they come to understand and accept themselves, their bodies, their sexual identity and desires more fully and feel empowered about these things as well.

  • I believe that sexuality is a core part of our humanity and is therefore just as important to take care of and heal as any other parts of our being. I also believe that people should know their bodies and be free to make informed choices about their bodies and am a fierce advocate for reproductive healthcare and LGBTQ2S+ rights. I see my role as a therapist as a guide, support, and teacher.

  • "Let's talk about sex Baby. Let's talk about you and me. Let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be. Let's talk about sex!"

    — Salt-N-Pepa

  • When I am not working with my clients, I enjoy watching F1; spending time with my spouse and kiddo; walking my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels "Mimosa" and "Lemon Drop;" and, drinking wine with my friends. When I am not at home, I am in the gym or on the squash court sweating profusely. You will almost always find me with a tea in one hand and my water bottle in the other. Cheers!
