My Practice as a Therapist

I am a bilingual Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and identity-related issues. My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach and guided by a phenomenological perspective, which views each person as a unique individual whose experiences cannot be understood through assumptions or judgment.

I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. Drawing from modalities such as hypnotherapy, ACT, AEDP, DBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches, I tailor treatment to each client's needs, helping them develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting change.

  • My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a genuine interest in understanding your unique story. Through thoughtful questions and exploration, I help clients gain new perspectives and deeper insight into their experiences. Many clients report that this process helps them better understand themselves and the patterns influencing their lives.

I also take a holistic and depth-oriented approach, exploring how past experiences, relationships, beliefs, and life events have shaped your current challenges and strengths. This deeper understanding helps guide a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals. When appropriate, I integrate clinical hypnosis, a powerful therapeutic tool that allows us to work with deeper, unconscious processes where lasting change, emotional healing, and new patterns can emerge.

  • I am passionate about helping clients build a healthier and more fulfilling relationship with themselves, their bodies, and their intimate lives. Over the years, I have noticed that many challenges related to sexuality are deeply connected to self-esteem, relationships, attachment patterns, past experiences, and the stories clients carry about themselves.

I believe that a healthy connection to our sexuality is a key factor in thriving in many other areas of life, and that there is little benefit in separating ourselves from this important part of who we are. What I find meaningful about this work is creating a space where clients can openly explore these experiences without judgment. I enjoy helping clients gain insight, understand the deeper roots of their struggles, and move toward greater confidence, connection, authenticity, and overall well-being.

  • When I’m not in the office, I enjoy reading, reflecting, and creating content for my Farsi podcast, where I explore topics related to psychology, personal growth, and living authentically. I also enjoy attending live music events, spending quality time with like-minded friends, visiting art galleries, and watching movies. Living in Vancouver has deepened my appreciation for nature, and one of my favorite ways to unwind is going to the beach and watching the sunset. More recently, I’ve also started learning Spanish, which has been both a fun and humbling experience.
