Allura is proud to be a practicum site for Master’s level counselling students in counselling & counselling psychology

Through our internship program, we are able to provide:

  • lower cost options for counselling to make therapy, including sex therapy, more accessible to folks who need it

  • quality counselling services through intern counsellors who receive direct supervision by our team’s most experienced clinicians

  • intern counsellors space to hone their skills in sex therapy to create more highly-trained and competent therapists specializing in this field

FEES

fees are exclusive of tax, Tax will be added based on your province of residence

Our intern counsellors are able to offer a few spots in their caseload on a sliding scale for clients. As our low cost counselling is already lower than our registered counsellors, we encourage folks to consider their ability to pay the regular low cost counselling rate to provide space for clients who require sliding scale. Sliding scale spots are prioritized for folks who are experiencing financial barriers including difficulties with meeting basic needs (i.e., rent), are unemployed or underemployed, or have limited financial support. Please discuss this with the counsellor during your consultation call.
